how should I touch up the waste lands. they look snowy instead of how they should look.
air docks look ok? how should they look?

and yet another minor update. this one has lame air docks.


ok another update (7:30pm EST). so i tried making my own coliseums and towers. Thoughts? I used the same method as I did for the wall.


Trying different things. here is where i am...

This is where I am. Basically I'm playing with ridges, mountains, canyons, and other such. Using a lot of bevel. Gonna work with the dodge and burn tool more but otherwise I'm just trying to get better at doing this stuff. I know the mountain is far from perfect. The sand dunes ok? Seems like more layering maybe.

Oh yeah, which coliseum do folks like? I like the left one but perspective wise I wondered if the right one might work better for the monsters... I could make either work though. I think.

So, this is a conquest map based on Daviedoo's hometown of Kirkcaldy, Scotland. I started some rough stuff but tabled at davie's request. But I thought I should at least add aholder thread.

Another great idea of Androidz. This is a map based on the theme of Atlantis. Androidz has a cool security border idea already for this. Again I am doing graphics.

I'll let Androidz do the explaining in comments but I'm doing graphics for this pretty cool map idea of his.

So, I am looking at some point to make a sequel to the hurling map. Basically, using similar mechanics but adjusted and adopted for a different sport. I'd like to do something next that is similar but not overly similar. Like doing gaelic football would be pointless. All i'd do is change the ball in the middle and the title. Soccer maybe but possibly too similar. I'd prefer something that involves more players than hockey and something where both teams are on the field on offense and defense at the same time. But none of that is set in stone. I'm just not sure what sport to do...

I figured out a way to do american football but i'd rather do soccer/futball then.

So, danfrank's map idea is to have an objective map based on trying to break into Fort Knox. What we have so far is this link of photos and maps.

I'm in no rush on this one. The Allegheny Forest and Hurling maps are enough to keep me busy. Plus the ones I volunteered to help with. I just posted the idea though on conquerclub. So please chime in over there.
